Transfer News: AC Milan identify quartet of players to reinforce their attack

AC Milan are looking to reinforce their attacking department. It is a fundamental requirement for the Rossoneri to return to the Champions League. In order for Gattuso's mission to become possible, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the management of the club has started big manoeuvres to study tracks that lead to the arrival of a new striker at the San Siro.

One purchase has already been made - that of Lucas Paqueta. The player could play already against Sampdoria in the Coppa Italia but also against Juventus in the Supercup but it is yet to be identified in which role. The Brazilian can be exploited in a Bonaventura role. It is likely Gattuso will try to use the player later, as a winger or a second striker.

Meanwhile, Leonardo and Maldini are checking some interesting names on the transfer market. Manolo Gabbiadini is a player that interests the club. The player is no longer central in Southampton's plans and the evaluation of the player is between 12 and 15 million euros. The English club, however, does not want to let the player go on loan. The Rossoneri management will thus have to convince them to do so, due to the lack of funds available.

Attention should be paid also to the domino effect on the market that can make new pieces available. Milan are also looking at the situation of Marko Pjaca, who is on loan at Fiorentina from Juventus and has not fully adapted to the La Viola. Adem Ljajic and Kevin-Prince Boateng are other suggestions. For Boateng, it would be a third experience at Milanello, with excellent relations between Milan and Sassuolo and a great relationship with Gattuso himself. He would also be willing to play any role, but at the moment, these are just ideas.
