Transfer news: Boost for Inter as Marotta pushes for Italian wonderkid

According to what has been reported by Italian newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport, Beppe Marotta, who recently left his post at Juventus to become CEO at Inter Milan, is very keen on signing Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali.

Tonali is regarded as one of the brightest stars in Italian football, earning a call-up to the national team for the first time in the last round of international fixtures.

Marotta reportedly pushed hard to sign Tonali for Juventus and it is now thought he will apply the same tenacity to his role at Inter; to sign the hot prospect before their rivals get their first.
