Transfer news: Former Man U coach warns Barca about Neymar

Former Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal spoke to La Porteria de Beteve, in which he advised his former club Barca to not re-sign PSG’s Neymar, as the latest reports are suggesting they will be.

Speaking on the topic, Van Gaal said: “It would not be good for Barcelona. Neymar is a young player who continues to improve, he must first learn to become a team player, he is too individualistic, so I think Barça should think about it before deciding to take him back.”

Van Gaal spent 2 spells as head coach at Barcelona, between 1997 and 2000 and between 2002 and 2003.
