Transfer news: Inter watching starlets linked to Barca and Madrid

During the summer, Inter Milan signed Argentine starlet Lautaro Martinez from Argentina-based Racing Club; adding the Argentine to an already impressive roster of South American stars; including captain and primary goalscorer Mauro Icardi, or whom Lautaro is a compatriot of, and centre-back Miranda.

According to what has been reported by Il Corriere dello Sport, Dario Baccin, Piero Ausilio’s right-hand man and vice-sporting director at the Nerazzurri, was absent from Inter’s primavera defeat to Napoli, having travelled to South America in an attempt to sign some young talent for the side.

Barcelona target Vitao is being linked with a switch to Inter, as well as Agustin and Lincoln of Corinthians and Flamengo respectively, the first being a target of Real Madrid. Inter are reportedly also watching Palmerias’ Almendra, Gonzalo Maroni and Pedrinho. Inter may face a struggle to sign some of these starlets but will be hoping to use their practice with the likes of Lautaro to help sign another South American starlet.
