Transfer news: Juventus hold edge over Barca for Ajax starlet

According to what has been reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Barcelona are pressing to sign Ajax wonderkid Matthijs de Ligt in January. However, the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, is waiting for Juventus to make their move, as he sees the Bianconeri as a preferred destination for the young Dutchman.

At just 19-years-old, the Dutch centre-back is considered to have the potential to be one of the best in the world but is being advised not to move just yet – despite what his agent and the media are suggesting.
