Transfer news: Man Utd’s January plan to sign Spurs star

According to what has been reported by English newspaper the London Evening Standard, Manchester United are preparing an offer to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Belgian centre-back Toby Alderweireld.

Alderweireld was at the top of Jose Mourinho’s wish list over the summer, yet United left it too late in their attempts to sign the Spurs star and they ultimately failed. United will swoop again for the 29-year-old in January, hoping to add the talented defender to strengthen their roster.
