Transfer rumors: Juventus chase former Liverpool right-back
Giuseppe Marotta and Andrea Agnelli, by the way, would like to add a wingback to the roster and according to L’Equipe they have set sights on former Liverpool righ-back Javi Manquillo.
The 22-year-old joined Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille on a seasonal loan from Atletico Madrid last summer and has already racked up 20 appearances this term.
His previous experience at Liverpool, by the way, was so disappointing that Reds had to cut short his loan spell to send him back to the Calderon after only 10 games played in the 2014-2015 campaign.
His price-tag is believed to be in the region of € 3-4 million and if rumors coming from France are to believed, Juve will approach Los Colchoneros’ manager Diego Simeone over Manquillo’s transfer next season.
