UEFA Champions League can have VAR this season
The VAR is set to be trialled in the Premier League this season and will be used completely next season. As far as the Champions League is concerned, it will be fully used next season onwards.
Sky Sports have learnt that UEFA could VAR in the Champions League this very season, from the second round onwards. The decision has been taken by UEFA following controversial decisions in the last few group stage games.
