Valencia set to confirm signing of Atlético Madrid striker

Valencia are very close to finalising a deal to sign Atlético Madrid striker Luciano Vietto. The two La Liga clubs have agreed that the Argentine will join Los Che on loan for €2 million in an agreement which also includes an option to buy at the end of the season worth €13.5 million. The former Sevilla loanee had previously been close to joining Portuguese giants Sporting CP, but it now seems that the Peter Lim-owned club have come in with a financially superior offer.
