VAR will ruin football: Twitter reacts to Icardi’s disallowed goal in Milan derby
Mauro Icardi netted a goal in the first half of the derby of Milan but his goal was disallowed after a VAR check. The Argentinean, in fact, had his right foot in off-side and the video assistant referee spotted it. The referee and his assistant had initially allowed Icardi’s goal but the VAR review dealt a huge blow for the nerazzurri. Inter and AC Milan fans have been discussing on Twitter about the decision taken by the referee at the San Siro.
