‘Vice-Modric’ Bradaric: ‘Luka could come to Italy, you should ask Srna’

Cagliari midfielder Filip Bradaric, dubbed ‘vice-Modric’ due to his position, style of play and nationality, spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport, to whom he gave an interview about his title, his future and whether or not Luka Modric will win the Ballon d’Or or move to Serie A.

“Am I the vice-Modric? I'm just Filip Bradaric, I'm not a copy of anyone, it's I. And I want to prove it, maybe the role I play is more similar to what Badelj plays.

“Ballon d’Or? I think that Luka Modric is today the strongest player in the world and deserves the Golden Ball, I like him calm, he taught me, he never gets nervous and he is aware of his skill.

“Do you think that we will see him in Italy in the next season? We need to ask Srna, who is his best friend, but I hope so, it would be a great growth for Serie A.”
