Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra lost his head last night before the Europa League fixture between Vitoria Guimares and Marseille in a manner that draws comparisons to another former French Manchester United player, namely Eric Cantona.

Below there you can see a video of the former Juventus defender kicking a Marseille fan in the head after a group of Marseille supporters had come down to the pitch to talk with parts of the squad before kick off. Evra, who has been criticized for his performances since joining Marseille, was on the receiving end of insults and chants by his own fans for about 30 minutes had enough and identified one fan as being the main culprit before kicking him in the head. The kick brought back memories from 1995 when Eric Cantona during a match against Crystal Palace kicked a fan for insulting him.
