EURO 2016: Wales’ star Gareth Bale makes history
The Welshman scored two goals from free kick in the first two games of the tournament. Only Michelle Platini (France) in 1984 Thomas Hassler (Germany) in 1992 managed to do the same scoring two goals from set pieces in a single edition of a European tournament.
Bale netted seven goals for Wales during EURO 2016 qualifiers and the first-half goal against England was his 21st in 57 games with The Dragons.
