Manchester United edged out Real Madrid on penalties last night in Santa Clara in the latest game of the International Champions Cup. The Red Devils took the lead right on the stroke of half-time after a fantastic run by Anthony Martial set up the easiest of goals for Jesse Lingard.
 

Real levelled thanks to a penalty in the second-half after new signing Victor Lindelof brought down Theo Hernandez. Casemiro made no mistake from the spot. That was the end of the scoring in 90 minutes so the game went to a penalty shoot-out which turned into a bit of a farce. Only three spot-kicks were converted with United running out 2-1 winners.
