Brazil failed to impress in their Copa America debut yesterday night as Carlos Dunga’s lads were hold to a scoreless stalemate by Ecuador.

With Neymar out of action, the Brazilian tactician opted to start Coutinho and Willian up front, but the Seleçao were unable to create any sort of trouble during the game and Ecuador protested for a controversial call by the referee who did not allow Alisson’s own goal after a ball crossed in by Bolanos.

New AS Roma signing accidentally scored an own goal while trying to save the Ecuador International’s pass. Luckily enough for Brazil, the referee called the ball out and the Brazilian’s goalkeeper own-goal was disallowed.
