Former Juventus player Paul Pogba expressed his respect for retiring veteran defender Barzagli on Instagram.

‘Great man and a great footballer. And now? Surely you will be top whatever you do. You are an example for all players.'

The World Cup winner shared 3 images of them together during Pogba’s time at the club including an image showing the pair celebrating Juve’s 31st Scudetto.

Pobga played for the Turin side between 2012 – 2016 and has been linked with a return back after a disappointing time in Manchester.
