Watch: Roma respond to UEFA snub with sarcastic tweet
Despite netting a stunning 33 goals, the third-best total among Europe’s Top Five leagues, the Giallorossi were ignored in a list published this morning by UEFA.com.
The European federation’s website remembered the other culprits, namely Monaco (who have 43, and netted four against Marseille at the weekend), Real Madrid (36), Barcelona (33), Liverpool (32) and Torino (31). Roma’s response?
They pointed it out to UEFA on Twitter in a tongue-and-cheek manner.
