WC qualifiers: Italy-Liechtenstein 5-0 |As it happened...

Italy will be taking on Liechtenstein in a World cup qualifier game in Udinese. Ventura's team recently beat Uruguay by a 3-0 score line last week as they are now ready to play an important game tonight. Italy and Spain are currently one and two in the Group G standings as the goal difference is in Spain's advantage (+17 versus +9). Lopetegui's team will be playing against Macedonia today as both Italy and Spain will be looking to score a lot of goals. Only the group winner qualifies directly for the World cup so the return leg between Spain and Italy should be a crucial one (they will play on September second at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid).

The last time Italy faced Lichtenstein, they won by a 4-0 score as they will be hoping to get a similar score tonight. Ventura will use Immobile and Belotti up front with Candreva and Insigne on their wings. At the back, Chiellini will start alongside Barzagli. Follow the action here as kick-off is set for 20H45 Italy time.

Both clubs starting formations:

ITALIA (4-2-4): Buffon; Darmian, Barzagli, Cheillini, Spinazzola; Pellegrini, De Rossi; Candreva, Belotti, Immobile, Insigne. Coach: Ventura.

LIECHTENSTEIN (4-1-4-1): Jehle; Rechsteiner, Malin, Gusber, Göppel; Polverino; Salanovic, Hasler, Büchel, Bughmeier; Frick. Coach: Pauritsch.
