Why Barcelona target won't force PSG exit

Marco Verratti’s entourage have decided to not get confrontational with Barcelona, according to Le 10 Sport.

The Spanish press had speculated that the 24-year-old could hold out for training camp, and try to force a move to Barcelona.

Verratti is also wanted by Manchester United, Juventus and also Bayern, with Carlo Ancelotti very interested.

The PSG star is reported to have told the Ligue 1 club that he wants to leave, and was spotted in Ibiza in the same club as Lionel Messi, with the Spanish press claiming that the two discussed a move to Barcelona.

Verratti has played 134 Ligue 1 games for PSG, scoring five times, and is considered to be one of the best midfielders around.

The Blaugrana’s expectations are also important: they are very attentive to how their players behave, with Luis Suarez having an anti-bite clause in his deal.

With no offer being made, Verratti isn’t ready to force PSG’s hand.
