Why Chelsea Should Be Closely Monitoring What's Going On At Juve

Juventus coach Max Allegri finds himself with two problems regarding two of his players. The first concerns Claudio Marchisio's wife who lashed out on social media criticizing the Bianconeri coach after the 1-1 draw away against Sporting Lisbon in their midweek Champions League fixture.

Marchisio has fallen down the pecking order at the Turin-based club, with Allegri generally preferring to play Sami Khedira, Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi ahead of him in the midfield. Marchisio did play 15 minutes of the game against SPAL recently, but has made only a single Serie A start this season, with Allegri playing the others ahead of him.

The second problem are the below par performances of Brazilian full-back Alex Sandro this season which has some scratchign their heads if Juventus made a mistake in not selling the former Porto player during the transfer window this past summer.

The Brazilian full-back has produced several disappointing performances  this season and Max Allegri has has already been forced to bench him several times this season. Although Juventus still believe he is one of the best left-backs in the world they expect their star to have better performances in the coming matches. Meanwhile, Chelsea have resumed talks with the players representatives.
