Milano based media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport reports on Brazilian midfielder Ramires rumoured transfer from Jiangsu Suning to sister club Inter when the transfer window reopens in January.

According to the report the green light for the former Chelsea midfielder's move to Milano in December as widely reported previously, has not arrived. This is because Nanjing do not wish to further weaken Jiangsu Suning FC and so the entire deal hangs in the balance.

Ramires spent five and a half seasons at Stamford Bridge after joining them from Benfica in August 2010 for a reported €22 million. During his time with Chelsea the Brazilian midfielder won 5 titles, including the Champions League, the Europa League as well as the Premier League featuring 246 times scoring 37 goals across all competitions.

In January 2016 Ramires left Chelsea to sign for Jiangsu Suning for a reported fee of £25 million and has since then featured 70 times scoring 17 goals in all competitions.
