Yaya Toure announces he will continue playing, days after agent announced retirement

Earlier this week, it was announced by Dmitry Selyuk that his client Yaya Toure would be retiring, the agent telling English newspaper The Daily Mail that the Ivorian would be 'retiring as a champion'.

However, Toure himself has now spoken to Sky Sports in which he revealed that he will not be retiring and will continue playing after all:

"Retire? Never! I will continue to play. There have been so many rumors about my future, but it's time for clarity. Football is something I can not describe, I have been playing since I was young and will continue to do so. When it is time to retire, I will officially do it myself. No one else will speak in my name."
