Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini revealed an interesting transfer gossip regarding Manchester City star Sergio Aguero.

“I almost signed Aguero when he was at Independiente,” revealed the Sicilians patron.

“He was ready to sign but then Atletico Madrid stepped in and the deal fell through. The player gave me his word at first, but then I couldn’t compete with the Spaniards and had to let him go,” concluded Zamparini.
