Simone Zaza’s future remains uncertain. His summer loan move to West Ham United has proved to be fruitless so far and his parent club Juventus, are still waiting to see if they will collect the €28 million from his full sale to the Premier League club. Despite earlier reports stating that the Hammers would have to pay the full fee for the 25-year-old if he made 10 appearances, it’s been revealed by the players father and agent, that the buy-out clause will only be activated after 14 appearances. He recently explained that; “It’s influenced by the number of games and we are currently at nine, five short of the target for the full transfer. It’s difficult to believe that he will not get to that figure during this season”.
Napoli remains alert to the situation and have already made noises about a possible player exchange with out of favour frontman Manolo Gabbiadini.
