Zidane: Real Madrid stars on their way back
The Real Madrid star and two-time Champions League winner was diagnosed with pericarditis last month, some horrible news for the talented full-back.
The Spanish international was expected to be out for a number of months, but looks like he could make a quick return.
“Dani is doing well and the result of the tests is good news,” Zidane told reporters.
“He has been cycling today and whilst he is healthy there is a recovery process he must go through and we will and see how that goes.
Zidane also had good news about another star, Gareth Bale, though he was coy about the Welshman’s return date.
“Bale? Gareth has been out on the pitch, he is on the verge of returning to first team training but still we cannot give a date for that.”
Carvajal signed a new deal a few weeks ago, one that would keep him at the club until 2022.
