Zidane: Ronaldo will score soon now that he's getting assists
Real Madrid earned a win against the struggling Las Palmas this weekend, and the Portuguese star was instrumental with an assist.
According to his Coach, this is a sign that he is set to get back to scoring ways.
"Now Cristiano is getting assists, his bad run will end," Zidane said after the 3-0 win.
"Isco's goal came from a Ronaldo cross. Both Ronaldo and Benzema have been doing the right things on the pitch."
The Merengues are still eight points short of leaders Barcelona, and things are going even worse for Ronaldo, who told reporters last week that “my stats are good. If you want to check them, go type ‘Ronaldo’ on Youtube.”
The Portuguese international has only scored one Liga goal this season, while Lionel Messi has netted twelve. Ronaldo was disqualified for five games at the start of the season after pushing a referee.
