Exclusive: Real Madrid ahead of Juve, Barça and City in race for Spain starlet

Real Madrid are leading the race to sign Betis starlet Dani Ceballos, according to our transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano. The U21 Spain International impressed scouts of many top European clubs during the U21 European Championship and according to our sources the Merengues are ahead of any other club interested in signing the exciting 20-year-old.

Dani Ceballos’ release clause is set to € 15 million only but Real Madrid are willing to invest over €20 million to secure the services of one of the most promising midfielders of the European football panorama.

Barcelona, Manchester City and Barcelona have also asked information about the transfer availability of the talented midfielder but Real Madrid have already begun transfer talks and are open to offer Betis to keep the player on loan for one season.

The Champions League winners were the first club to pounce on the player and are expected to seal the transfer of Dani Ceballos this summer. Other suitors have come too late, Real Madrid are set to beat them to signing the exciting 20-year-old.
