AC Milan join race to sign Lapadula, but there’s another Serie A club in pole

Looks like Gianluca Lapadula is everyone’s cup of tea right now. The ‘Gonzalo Higuain of Serie B’ netted 30 goals in Italy’s second division and he will play for a Serie A club next season. Not Pescara, though, despite their recent promotion to Italy top-flight.

The club’s president Daniele Sabastiani met Adriano Galliani in Milan today. The rossoneri would like to buy the player in partnership with Genoa. After the meeting with Galliani, Sebstiani has also met Juventus and Napoli.
The partenopei had lunch with Lapadula’s representatives who have also met Genoa.

There is another Serie A club, however, which is the most likely to welcome the player’s services in the summer. Lapadula would prefer to join Sassuolo as the neroverdi are one of those clubs that could guarantee him game time, not to mention that Eusebio Di Francesco’s side will also play European football next season.
