Antonio Cassano wants Sampdoria stay despite being left out of first team squad

Antonio Cassano doesn’t want to leave Sampdoria despite being left out of first team squad for a friendly tournament which his teammates will play in Spain.

Cassano is also not training with the rest of the first team and his status seem very similar indeed to the one of Bastian Schweinsteinger at the Old Trafford as both players have been ruthlessly distanced from their first-team squad teammates.

The former AS Roma and Real Madrid man has released an interview with Sky Italia sharing his thoughts about the current situation.

“I love Sampdoria and I love our fans, you should ask Ferrero and Romei about my future. It’s their problem, I have a contract with Sampdoria and I’ve already made five years out of squads throughout my career. I can stay out of the team here, actually that is even better because I am in a club I love.”

“I am home now, it’s their problem, not mine. I am not leaving. I did everything I could to return here, let’s see what happens, you should ask them.”
