Ausilio: Inter in no rush to plan transfers

Inter Milan’s sporting director, Piero Ausilio, is reportedly in no rush to plan Inter’s winter transfer strategy.

“I’m not thinking about it now,” Ausilio told Inter Channel on Friday.

“I’m trying to understand how the players we’ve just acquired are doing. We’ve changed a lot and it is right that the manager is given the time to get to know them.

“We’ll begin to evaluate the situation in December so we know what to do in the winter transfer window”

The Nerazzurri splurged last time round, adding the likes of Davide Santon, Xerdan Shaqiri and Marcelo Brozovic in order to give new manager Roberto Mancini a new squad. One of them has already been shown the door, whilst Brozovic is having to deflect talk of a move away from the San Siro.

Inter have been rumoured to be looking for an alternative to Santon on the right.

Despite a five-win run to start the season, the Milanese outfit are still looking to play their best football. Ausilio's words are the kind of encouragement that underperforming players like Marcelo Brozovic and Martin Montoya were likely hoping for.
