'Barça rival Juve in the hunt for Berardi' Sassuolo CEO reveals

    • M.G.
Awaiting for tomorrow’s game against Juventus, Sassuolo Chief Executive Giovanni Carnevali has released some interesting declarations regarding the relations between his club and the bianconeri themselves, especially for what concerns the transfer market.

“I exclude that Berardi will join Juve in January” he told Tuttosport “it’s not part of our policy. Also for what concerns Zaza, we refused to let him move to Turing during the winter transfer market. Now Berardi is completely a Sassuolo player, and we are not a club that needs to sell”.

On the other hand, Carnevali admitted: “There is an open talk with Juve, and they are his most probable destination, though not the only one. Ariedo Braida came often to watch our games, and we are glad that a club like Barcelona is observing our players”

Regarding the 23-year-old Croatian right back Sime Vrsaljko, the neroverdi’s executive added: “Never talked with Juve about him. During the summer we had many offer, but we decided to keep him. He’s part of our project”
