Beretta: 'I want a no-stop negotiation with AIC'
The president of the Italian Football League, Maurizio Beretta, criticised the representatives of the Footballer Association (AIC) and asked the FA to continue the negotiation: "We are always here at this table, unlike some others who come whenever they please and make unbelievable decisions. Their positions are aNoi ci siamo sempre presentati al tavolo - spiega Beretta -, a differenza di qualcun altro che viene quando vuole salvo poi prendere decisioni sorprendenti. Their positions are used as an excuse. The negotiation is not simple, but on some points we are not that far.
Beretta also met the Home Secretary to discuss new rules on security in the stadiums: "We will give the stweards the same responsibility of a police man".
Then on the fans membership card: "there were problems with small groups of supporters at the beginning, but the results of the first 8 matches demonstrate an increase of attendance and a decrease in incidents"
