Berlusconi on: Selling Milan, the San Siro and the return of Maldini
SUPPORTERS He moved on to assure fans that they shouldn’t be worried with all the current uncertainty, explaining that; “At one point the supporters of Milan agreed with the club to show patience. Unfortunately, I have noticed recently that they have neither patience nor memory. They forget about the results of Milan over the 30 years”.
SAN SIRO
He then spoke about his vision for the future of the iconic Stadio San Siro declaring that; “It’s been the setting for some of our most famous victories and I’m tied to the place. I believe sharing the stadium with Inter is acceptable. I would personally choose to remain here but if new owners come in and decide to build a new stadium then who am I to argue”.
MALDINI RETURN
Finally, on rumours that playing legend Paolo Maldini is set to return to the club in some capacity. Berlusconi replied; “I’ve heard these stories but I don’t believe Paolo is available because he is now a shareholder with a company in America”.
