    BREAKING NEWS: Sampdoria announce Zenga's sacking

    As reported earlier today, Sampdoria president Maurizio Ferrero has decided to fire first team head coach Walter Zenga, who is –by the way- still waiting for a call: a few minutes ago, through their official website, the Blucerchiati announced the sacking of the 55-year-old.

    Now Ferrero will try to sign Vincenzo Montella and he is actually in Florence –where the Sampdoria president lives- to talk with Fiorentina, as the young coach still has a contract with the Tuscan club.

    The Viola require €5 million euros to let the 41-year-old –sacked at the end of the last season- leave, but they know that if Montella will join Sampdoria, they will save on his salary.
