    Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are still desperate to find a reliable centre-back this summer. The Italian tactician has seen his offers for Kalidou Koulibaly, Giorgio Chiellini and Alessio Romagnoli rejected, but the former Juventus boss has yet to give up on his desire of signing a new central defender from Serie A.

    Lazio’s Stefan de Vrij is the last name linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge. The highly-rated Dutch centre-back spent the last season watching his teammates from the stands due to a serious knee injury.

    Despite that, Lazio are still asking € 25 million for the 24-year-old who was imposed himself as one of the best defenders of the Italian league in the 2014-15 campaign.
