    Europa League draw: unlucky Roma and Fiorentina to face Villareal and Borussia Monchengladbach

    It was not a positive Europa League draw for both AS Roma and Fiorentina, the only two Serie A clubs that managed to make it through the group stage. The giallorossi have been drawn with Villareal, whilst Fiorentina have picked Borussia Monchengladbach.

    The LaLiga side are one of the most spectacular teams of the competition, not to mention that they reached the Europa League semi-finals last season losing to Liverpool. The Bundesliga giants, on the other hand, were ‘relegated’ to Europa League after finishing their Champions League group stage in third position.
