EXCLSUIVE Serie A news: Berardi set to skip Juventus clash with knee injury

Sassuolo fans were sweating fitness of their star Domenico Berardi after that the Italian winger was forced to leave the pitch yesterday night with a knee contusion.

Berardi had previously scored his seventh goal in the first six games of the season with a marvellous volley that set the score to 2-1 one for Sassuolo (watch video below).

The neroverdi are now on top of the table with two wins alongside Juventus, Genoa and Samp and will face the Serie A giants at the J Stadium after the international break.

Calciomercato.com has exclusively learned that Berardi’s injury is nothing more than a strong contusion which will sideline the 22-year-old for 2-3 weeks time, forcing him to skip the next Sassuolo game against Juventus.
