EXCLUSIVE: Fredy Guarin move to Jiangsu Suning put on hold after Luiz Adriano collapsed deal

Fredy Guarin move to Jiangsu Suning has been put on hold, despite the player’s agent Marcelo Ferreyra landed in Milan a few days ago to negotiate his client’s transfer in China.

According to calciomercato.com’s Serie A pundit Pasquale Guarro, Mr. Ferreyra has spent the whole day in Milan together with his family, but he has failed to meet representatives from both Inter and Jiangsu Suning.

Calciomercato.com has also exclusively learned that Guarin has still not received any official offer from  Jiangsu Suning as the club have only sounded out on the player’s availability.

Guarin was rumored to have been offered a contract worth € 7 million a year, while Jiangsu Suning were ready to pay € 18 million to secure the player’s services.

It is no secret that Luiz Adriano’s collapsed transfer to the same Chinese side is influencing Fredy Guarin’s transfer talks.

Milan had agreed the Brazilian striker’s move for € 14 million, but the player failed to find economic agreement with the club.
