EXCLUSIVE: Juventus promise Allegri a big star as part of renewal
Juventus plan to give Max Allegri a world class player as part of his contract renewal, calciomercato can exclusively reveal. With reports linking the former Milan manager to both real Madrid and Chelsea (who had shortlisted him), the Old Lady has now set a date (after the Bayern tie) in which she will sit down with her much-loved coach and hammer out a new deal.
Allegri wants a top quality player, especially if Real Madrid decide to spirit Alvaro Morata away with their famous Recompra. Trouble is, though Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici are both chasing a number of high-profile alternatives, they're tough cookies, whether it's PSG striker Edinson Cavani or Galactico Karim “House of Cards” Benzema.
If Morata were to stay, however, look for the Old Lady to terrified her attacking midfielder, whether it's Bundesliga midfielder Ilkay Gundogan or Bayern star Mario Gotze.
Speaking of contract renewal, Allegri wants to be paid €4 million a year (bonuses included), and Juventus want to kept him until 2019. Either way, it will be a win-win situation for the record-breaking Bianconeri.
