Exclusive: Liverpool wanted Juventus DS Paratici to flank Klopp | by Fabrizio Romano

It looks like Juventus aren’t just trying to offer a new deal to Paulo Dybala and Leonardo Bonucci, who are both very close to accepting.

It appears that they’re also set to offer director of sport Fabio Paratici a new deal, like they did with CEO Giuseppe Marotta.

One of Europe’s most respected directors, Paratici’s thick web of scouts has allowed the Bianconeri to bring in a heck of a lot of talent. He’s done well enough to attract interest from AC Milan, Tottenham and Real Madrid.

It appears that Paratici was also on Liverpool’s mind back when Jurgen Klopp was hired: the idea being that the two could completely revolutionize the Reds. He preferred Juventus’ project, however, and his attachment to the club is underlined by his continuous search for talent, with the Bianconeri now looking for a young striker to complement the forward line.
