Fassone reveals what will happen to AC Milan if they fail to qualify for the Champions League

Speaking at the Wired Next17 in Florence, AC Milan's CEO, Marco Fassone, spoke of the current about what is currently occuring at theRossoneri club, focusing mainly on the economic aspects that closely affect Italian football.

Internationalising Serie A-
"The Serie A is trying to internationalize, over the last decade in the modernization of our system we have been slower than other countries. Now the change of ownership to international markets is normal, with younger entrepreneurs who are helping us, but we are starting to make great strides."

The AC Milan Fans-
"From the point of view of Milan the fans are a priority. We have two properties, the first are the investors, the second the fans. As far as we are concerned, it is especially important because there has been a lot change of  with the new owners coming in, the old owners had 31 years of undisputed success. We have tried to be open, transparent and  have open dialogue with the fans to give them a constant updates on the team, especially from a football point of view, but also economically because it interests so many of them."

Financial Fair Play & UEFA
We met with the Uefa commission in May, 20 days after the settlement, and we needed a six month extension to present our plans and make them reliable. In November we will present the plans for the next few years and we will try to show the reason why we have spent so much to bring us back to a competitive position and to respect the leagye next year. That said, I believe that UEFA has to adapt to today's football. "

Neymar to PSG
"If we find out that the Neymar and Mbappè operations were not budgeted, then there would be some important tensions, as many clubs have tried to abide by the rules."

Debt and UEFA -
"If we succeed in signing the Voluntary Agreement, we will have to do it by December 2017. I hope UEFA will accept our plan. We have Elliot's debt refinancing that I want to fix by the beginning of 2018 and we have already started dealing with countless banks around the world. I think we can get an improved agreement with Milan and by March 2018 it will all be in place. "

Qualifying for the Champions League-
"If we fail to gain access to the Champions, Milan will not fail, indeed we have also prepared alternative plans for UEFA where the Champions are not expected. It is an important and declared goal but I do not deny it, but we will know for sure only in May. "
