Former Milan Coach Seedorf sacked by Shenzen FC, replaced by Sven-Goran Eriksson

Things haven’t exactly gone swimmingly in Clarence Seedorf’s Coaching career.

The former AC Milan gaffer has been sacked by FC Shenzen, the Chinese second division side he has been managing since July.

Seedorf had previously been in charge at AC Milan, taking over the Rossoneri in 2014 after Max Allegri was sacked. His tenure didn’t last long, however, the former Real Madrid star being sacked after losing nine games to eleven Serie A wins.

Allegri, for his part, has gone on to win two Serie A titles with Juventus, and nearly won the Bianconeri the Champions League in 2015 with some breathtaking Coaching.

Seedorf had set himself the objective of helping Shenzen obtain promotion out of the China League One, and back in the Premier League.

Instead, the Dutchman’s side ended only seven points ahead of the relegation zone, and a whole nineteen short of the two promoted sides, Tianjin Quanjian and Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng.

He has been replaced by former England, Lazio, Manchester City and Roma Coach Sven-Goran Eriksson.
