Former Milan Coach 'wishes he'd signed Ilicic'
"I once told Flippo Inzaghi to sign Ilicic when he was at Milan,” Giorgio Perinetti told Florentine Radio Fiesole, “A few days ago he told me that he wished that he'd taken my advice”.
“Ilicic now needs to make the transition from player to champion.
“He's a pure talent, a purebreed, but he's a little fragile from the personal perspective. If I were a club, I'd always buy him”.
He then moved on to a former protege in Apulia, Andrea Ranocchia, “He's an extraordinary guy, I don't know why he's struggled. I was expecting to see him at the Euros, but he's not had two very easy seasons.
I hope for him that he find the right environment, Fiorentina would be able to stimulate him”.
