French defender reportedly agrees to move to Manchester City

Manchester City are close to confirming their second summer signing after landing Bernardo Silva last week. According to reports in France, Pep Guardiola is set to secure another top player contracted with Monaco: Benjamin Mendy.

The French left-back is reported to have agreed a move to Manchester City.
French journalist Romain-Collet Gaudin claims the family of the 22-year-old have confirmed that the player has agreed to join the Etihad Stadium in the summer.

Further reports in France claimed last week that Manchester City had opened talks to sign the Frenchman who was also in the agenda of Juventus and Inter.

Manchester City are one of the busiest teams in terms of transfer negotiations as they have already announced the signing of Bernardo Silva and are close to landing Benfica’s Ederson who was spotted at Manchester City’s medical centre yesterday.
According to reports in England, Pep Guardiola’s transfer kitty is around € 300 million.
