    Today’s edition of the Mirror reports that Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has a different name. The English tabloid has found out that the Nigerian FA made a mistake while registering the player in the quad of U-17 Nigeria National team for the 2003 U-17 World Cup.

    According to the Mirror, Mikel’s real name is John Michael Nchekwube Obinna, but his true name Michael was wrongly reported as Mikel. In order to avoid further mistakes and misunderstandings, the player decided to keep the name Mikel instead of his real one becoming popular as John Obi Mikel.
