Genoa will not allow Miguel Veloso to join Inter while they are close to sign Alessio Cerci from Fiorentina.

The Portuguese playmaker has been linked to the Nerazzurri since Thiago Motta is about to move to Paris Saint-Germain.

“Miguel received few offers but not from Inter and Fiorentina has rumoured,” said director Stefano Capozucca.

“But we analysed the situation and agreed that he will not be going anywhere,” he told Radio Sportiva.

The Rossoblue instead should be able to get unsettled Cerci from Fiorentina although the Viola requested Chilean midfielder Cristobal Jorquera in exchange for for the Italian winger.
