    • M.G.
During the last transfer window, AC Milan captain Riccardo Montolivo has been considered a target for the Serie A defending champions Juventus: tomorrow the former Fiorentina midfielder will play against the bianconeri themselves, and during an interview accorded to the Corriere dello Sport he said: “Renewing my contract is not a priority. I am focused on my team and on the Serie A table. In any case, I would like to continue with this club”

“My relation with de Jong is good” –the 30-year-old added- “now he’s not playing, but these are the boss’ choices, and it doesn’t mean that in the future we won’t be able to play together. It’s all normal. As I accepted the coach’s decision in the past, now it’s up to him, and he’s doing it with great professionality”

Finally, Montolivo said: “Could I join Juve? No, not me. Despite last summer’s rumors, there has never been anything. Moreover, I didn’t ask to leave and the club was not intentioned to sell me”
