Inter, 100 million euro for the market: Gerrard is the dream
After the fantastic Treble, Massimo Moratti's Inter are already thinking of the future. 100 million euro are ready deriving from Uefa (40 million), Champions League matched income (18 million), sponsors (6 million), merchandising and royalties (8 million), European SuperCup (4 million), World Cup for clubs (8 million), Mourinho's break clause to leave the club (16 million).
With this significant budget, Inter can invest in big names. Their dream is Steven Gerrard but also Javier Mascherano is highly admired for a place in the midfield. Possible alternatives could be Vassiriki Abou Diaby (Arsenal) or Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern Munich). If Mario Balotelli and Diego Milito stay, Inter could only target Edinson Cavani (Palermo). If one of them will leave, Inter will try to acquire Gonzalo Higuain or Fernando Torres.
