CM EXCLUSIVE: three forwards on Juve's radar

The injuries suffered by some Juventus players could force the bianconeri to get back on the transfer market: if Massimiliano Allegri has enough midfielders to replace Kwadwo Asamoah, the fact that Mario Mandzukic will have to remain out of the pitch for at least one month is pushing the Serie A defending champions to seek a new forward. The Lombard team can count in fact on only three strikers in a crucial part of the season, and –as reported by calciomercato.com- Allegri himself has asked for a signing.
Juve have an extremely homogeneous team, and they don’t want to ruin such balance; for this reason, the most reasonable solution is to sign an experienced and reliable player: for the third time, the bianconeri could decide to ask for Alessandro Matri, while it seems extremely difficult to obtain the 32-year-old Fabio Quagliarella from their city rivals Torino. Two other credible options are Palermo 33-year-old Alberto Gilardino and Hellas Verona 31-year-old Giampaolo Pazzini.
On the other hand, the Serie A defending champions could decide to sign a different type of forward, somebody that could play even together with Mandzukic, once the Croatian will have recovered from his injury, like Saponara or Berardi.
