Juve target Matuidi 'won't move', PSG president says

Juventus are seeking a midfielder to replace Paul Pogba, and one of their main targets for such position seemed to be Paris Saint-Germain 29-year-old Blaise Matuidi.

However, while introducing Jesé Rodriguez to the press, the French club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said: “As far as I am concerned, the transfer campaign is over. Blaise has two more years on his contract, and he is very important for both the club and the fans. He is a great professional, and we haven’t talked about his departure.”

Now, the main option for the bianconeri’s midfield becomes Zenit St. Petersburg 28-year-old Axel Witsel.
